Mind Boggle programs help students discover that science, math, and engineering can be fun by using hands-on activities that promote critical thinking, literacy, and team work. Mind Boggle was established to provide affordable, science, math, and engineering experiences to a wide range of students, academically and socio-economically. Science and math camps and grade specific programming are available for students in kindergarten through 12th grades. Mind Boggle Programs allow students to investigate topics in chemistry, biology and physics, sharpen their math skills, and team up on challenging engineering design projects. Research has shown that students (especially girls) tend to lose interest in science and math as they progress from elementary to middle school. Mind Boggle’s goal is to reverse this trend by keeping science and math relevant and exciting!

Girls Count Math Club

Mind Boggle is offering a FREE program during the fall semester at Kentwood Public Library! Girls Count is a math club designed for girls in the 3rd through 6th grades, however others are welcome to attend. The goal of the club is to give girls more confidence in math by reinforcing math concepts through fun games and activities. We will be meeting on Mondays from 6 to 7pm in the craft room of the library, starting September 12. Girls Count is a drop-in program so no registration is required.
